Manual / Automation QA Engineer

We are looking for a seasoned QA engineer to assume responsibility of our web and mobile projects. You should be comfortable with both working manually and automating your work using tools like Selenium, Appium, Behat, Jenkins and leading test frameworks of your choice.

$2000 – $3000 (Depending on interview results)


  • Designing and maintaining documentation for the automated testing process, including test plan and test cases
  • Writing, executing, and monitoring automated test suites using the Selenium framework
  • Requirement analysis
  • Performing manual testing according to the test plan in the areas with yet insufficient automated test coverage, identifying and reducing such areas
  • Recording and tracking issues in JIRA, supervising resolution and performing regression testing
  • Reporting on overall application status and signing off releases
  • Assistance in the integration of automation testing into general CI/CD cycle


  • At least 2 years of experience in testing of web/mobile applications
  • Good knowledge and experience with the Selenium Stack (WebDriver, Server)
  • Python or Java programming skills
  • Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts
  • Experience in testing web applications; deep knowledge of HTML DOM
  • Basic knowledge of Javascript
  • Ability to create and maintain a regression test plan and other documentation for complex web applications
  • SQL knowledge
  • Ability to use test management tools (such as TestRail), incl. their APIs
  • Data analysis skills
  • Experience with JIRA issue tracker
  • Good spoken and written English (Intermediate level required)

Nice-to-have skills

  • Manual software testing background
  • Understanding Gherkin language
  • User-oriented perspective and understanding of UI/UX rule of thumb principles
  • Upper-intermediate or better English
  • Experience in working within the Agile process
